The Concrete radio was made during a residency at Wysing arts centre. the Radio cross references JG Ballards concrete island and Subjective idealism. It was serendipitous of the events of the UK riots in the summer 2011 coincided with the recording of the film. A akin to JG ballard visions of a cold and disconnected society yet the visual is one of desolate landscape.
